Documentary filmmakers are looking for great stories to tell. Share yours here -- do you know of a gripping story, compelling issue, fascinating person, important event that deserves to be a documentary film?

And, letting your imagination run wild, let us know how you think the film might be directed -- is it purely observational? Does it use graphics or animation? Or re-enactments? Would it be feature length or a short?

Then think about showing it. Does the subject have a built in audience? Should it be released theatrically, on TV or for download, or on YouTube?
