On Library Shelves This Week: Food Documentaries

My shelf surfing at my local public library branch this week introduced a wave of worthwhile documentaries with a distinct theme: nutrition!

In fact, the library's take away shelves were packed with nourishing nonfiction DVDs that spill the beans on the shortcomings of packaged foods and their causal relationship with diabetes and other diseases that are plaguing the American populous, and suggest how even people who are managing an extremely limited food budget can sustain a healthy and balanced diet.

If you're hungry for good documentaries that give you tips, stats and the skinny about nutrition, good food and stretching your budget, put these public library selections on your viewing menu for this week:
