The Online Film Critics Society's Best Documentary prize has been presented to the wonderful This Is Not A Film, which also received a special award from the organization.
This is Not A Film is Iranian filmmaker Jafar Panahi's cleverly framed autobiographical protest against his government's imprisoning him and forbidding him from making movies, giving interviews to any media outlets and leaving the country for 20 years.
This is Not A Film is funny, infuriating and heartbreaking all at once. It is also shortlisted for consideration for the 2013 Oscar for Best Documentary Feature.
