With that very hard-to-pronounce title -- which, by the way, means 'river people' -- this documentary had better be damned good. And, it is.
Filmmakers Bill Ross and Turner Ross follow three wide-eyed boys -- the Zanders brothers -- as they discover the vibrant night life in New Orleans' French Quarter for the first time.
Wonderfully conceived and beautifully realized, this rite of passage documentary presents captivating profiles of the three boys and of the Crescent City.
It's one of my favorite documentaries of the year.
