New York's DCTV Plans Documentaries-Only Theater

New York's prolific and highly respected DCTV Center, celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2012, will convert a section of its headquarters building, a landmark firehouse on Lafayette Street, into a new state-of-the-art movie theater that will screen documentaries only on a year round schedule. Drawn from public and private sources, the $3.2 million for the 78-seat auditorium is already in place, and construction begins in March of next year. Read more....
