Filmmaker Junichi Suzuki's MIS: Human Secret Weapon reveals a long-held U.S. government secret dating back to World War II. It's the story of 6,000 Japanese-American Nisei (second generation) who joined the Military Intelligence Service (MIS), and fought against Japan -- despite the fact that the U.S. government had moved their loved ones into internment camps to prevent their possible collaboration with Imperial Japan.
Their story has not been told until now, and it's about time! Read my full review.
