Women War & Peace, the five-part documentary film series centerpiece of ITVS' multi-year Women And Girls Lead initiative, will air in its entirely on PBS in October, but you can be among the first to see one of the films, Peace Unveiled when it is livestreamed on Thursday, September 29, on ITVS' Livestream Channel.
The Women War & Peace series is produced by Abigail Disney and directed by Gini Reticker, both of whom will participate in a post-screening Q & A, with questions submitted by online viewers.
Peace Unveiled is about the efforts of three Afghan women to make sure that women's rights in their country not be compromised in the government's formal peace negotiations with the Taliban.
The films in the Women War & Peace series, the first documentaries shown under ITVS' Women And Girls Lead banner, will air on PBS on Tuesdays, October 11, 18, 25 and November 1 and 8 at 10 PM ET.
