Legendary French director Agnes Varda won the Cinema Eye for her autobiographical The Beaches of Agnes. And, the Audience Choice Award went to The September Issue.
The ceremony, held on January 15 at The Times Center in New York City, was attended by an a-list of top documentary filmmakers, including Albert Maysles, Barbara Kopple, Tia Lessin and Carl Deal, Jason Cohn and others.
