SXSW 2009's Documentaries Line Up Rocks!

- Objectified, the latest from acclaimed SXSW alum Gary Hustwit (Helvetica, which explores the creative process of influential designers and studies the impact they have on our daily lives.
- New World Order, directed by SXSW alum Andrew Neel, takes us deep into the underground anti-gobalist movement to look at conspiracy theory and theorists, including celebrity radio host and underground cult hero Alex Jones (Waking Life and A Scanner Darkly), and others, who labor to expose the 'massive global conspiracy' they believe threatens humanity's future.
- Winnebago Man, directed by Ben Steinbauer, is about Jack Rebney (the reclusive "most famous man you've never heard of"), whose foul-mouthed Winnebago sales videos became an Iternet hit with millions of viewers.
- In RiP: A Remix Manifesto, Web activist and filmmaker Brett Gaylor animation, archival footage, interviews with artists and lawyers to delve into copyright issues that arise in an information age where interactivity transcends the borders between producers and users. Gaylor's subjects include mash-up artists like Girl Talk., who remix snippits of existing music into new songs.
