PBS' Filmocracy: Try Your Hand At Documentary Filmmaking
Sunday March 16, 2008
PBS' The Independent Lens' presentation of King Korn occasions the first-ever Filmocracy mashup contest, giving you an opportunity to make your own short film by using clips from the documentary feature about two friends who grow one acre of corn to test how their produce flows into our nation's fast-food chain. You can add footage from Getty Images and/or your own material to express your point of view. You film must be three minutes or less in length. Rules and editing tools are on the Filmocracy Website. The contest closes May 30. There are prizes, and winners will be announced June 23. Have fun. And, good luck!
